It was a wild ride 🙂 I have to say we really enjoyed the pregnancy, first three months were not really something to look for (a bit of nausea, coughing, tiredness), but after that up until the last few weeks it was laughter, planing the future and lots of travel. Lilia was lucky enough to go to Portugal, Bulgaria, Brazil and Dubai before it was time to be born. Traveling with a pregnant lady is both a hassle and a blessing (you really start cutting those lines at the airports without thinking :). But then you are always thinking what if something goes wrong. I confess I was over-prepared for our trip to Rio (read too much about the danger of mosquito bites and pregnancy). My advice – just relax and try to enjoy. Being over protective might easily ruin your vacation.
Ok, this is me just a few seconds after I found out I was going to be a father 🙂 I was on a train from Venice, Italy when my wife texted me the simple – I’m pregnant. It’s funny how this simple words almost made me cry.
I am a professional photographer, and I know this image is far from good, but it is one of my favourite (and very few) selfies I have ever taken 🙂
